Hi, it is the first time I join an art community and wonder what people might see in my artwork. I think I might be doing something different.

What you are doing is called Hard Edge Abstraction. It's been around since the 60's and perhaps earlier going all the way back to Piete Mondrian. It is a later variation on Geometric Abstraction and color field painting. But you do it well. Here are some artists to look at who are well known for this kind of work.

Hi pilarperezprado,
Honestly, I think your colors are somewhat attractive, but somehow the compositions of hard-edged shapes (as a whole) seem disharmonious and noisy to my eyes. These designs are unsettling, because I can find no theme to grasp onto, no elegance or simplicity of design to keep my interest, no depth to engage me past a first glance.
I want to see some golden section ratios (as golden rectangles or triangles), linked in some sort of all-encompassing goemetric song. As they stand, these designs are like mechanical noise.
Show me a song.
Forgive the sting, but again, I am being totally honest to MY SENSES.
Robert
